Barista / Cashier

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service

  • Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other café beverages

  • Operate the POS/register and handle cash and card transactions

  • Assist customers with grocery purchases and product questions

  • Restock shelves, cafe items, and supplies

  • Maintain a clean, organized café and store environment

  • Pour beverages from the tap, including alcohol. At this time we are only considering applicants over 18 because of the need to sell alcohol.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong customer service skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

  • Prior barista, retail, or grocery experience preferred (training provided)

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Washington State Food Worker Card (must obtain within 14 days of hire)

  • MAST permit required for employees serving or handling alcohol (18+), with training completed prior to alcohol service. At this time we are only considering applicants over 18 because of the need to sell alcohol.

Pay & Benefits

  • Starting wage: $21/hour and $22/hour after six months of employment

  • Annual Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), capped at 3%
